Asphalt Artists
Check out Julian Beever and Kurt Wenner, two artists whose choice of media includes sidewalk chalk.
I personally like Beever more because the variety of paintings is more wide-spread and amusing. Most of Wenner's paintings are dark and dim and relfect people falling into things, although they seem even more realistic than Beever's. Beever's paintings are also very humorous.
I think both of these artists are amazing. The way they can paint in such detail on a sidewalk blows my mind! My favorite one of the two artists is Kurt Wenner. His painting are more realistic and of actual people and events. Whereas Julian Beever is not. So I would have to stay I hope Wenner comes out with some more sidewalk paintings to view. He does an excellent job.

It blows my mind that people put all that effort into making such works of art with such a short lifespan.
It's mind blowing to think that someone put all the time and energy into making those knowing that the next rain it's gone.
