Hey Mr. Kefor and whoever from your classes are reading this. I couldn't locate your e-mail online because I don't have access to Edline from the NHS homesite. I just had to let you know that I'm finishing my last semester at Bridgewater State in December! I'm getting a BA in Communication with a concentration in Media Studies, and then I'm moving to Los Angeles in the winter! My Dad's helping me out and I'm really grateful and fortunate for everything in my life. I really have to thank you for all of the many skills and techniques of writing papers you taught me over the years. My professors all tell me I am a great creative writer. I've learned to break my workload down, start ahead of time, and do it by pieces to relieve myself of any stress. You were a great teacher and helpful person to every single one of your students. I truly looked up to you as someone I could talk to without feeling afraid or embarrassed. You taught me to work hard and that anything is possible. In order to succeed in life, you need to put in the effort and aim for your goals. I have a goal and I'm ready to do whatever possible to succeed in my dreams. I'm sure you heard about Alexa's death. She always told me I'd work in the media, on TV, or do something big. Her 3 little brothers always told her they wanted to be movie stars like me. It was funny at the time, but that's what I intend to do once I arrive in California. I'm going to keep applying and doing whatever I need to do to reach my goal and succeed in life. I want to wake up everyday to a job a love being at. Kind of like you. I definitely want to give back to bullying organizations and causes for the environment. I just really wanted to thank you Mr. Kefor for all the help and support you provided me with in high school. I've grown and matured so much since high skill. I learned a lot about life and my career goals from you. You're my favorite teacher I ever had simply because you're the "illest." Taylor Hall and I remember when you used to write out slang words on the board that other students would say. And you'd break apart the word and tell everyone how it made no sense. Like "mad ill." In Britain, mad people are crazy people. Hahaha. You're a good guy and a very knowledgeable teacher. All students of Kefor's reading this right now will seriously thank him one day. Thanks for everything.

Robert Johnson sells his soul to the Devil
Robert Johnson went out at night in Mississippi. One hand held an old beat-up acoustic guitar and in the other was a bottle of whiskey. The year was in the 1930’s and he planned to sell his soul to the Devil. In order to do so, he had to meet the Devil at the crossroads. He does this for guitar skills and fame. At the crack of midnight he went to the middle of the crossroads and met the Devil. The Devil took his guitar and re tuned it to an open “D” which is known as the Devil’s tuning. He also had to give his shoes to the Devil. After his meeting with the Devil, he became extremely famous.
Ozzy Eats Bat and Doves
Ozzy Osbourne did a lot of drugs in his day. During one of his performances, someone threw a dead bat on stage. Thinking that it was fake, Ozzy bit its head off. During a record deal in LA, Ozzy bit the head off a dove. He was rumored to be on some sort of drug during this, though.
Abbey Road Cover
There was a rumor that Paul McCartney died and that’s why he wasn’t in the Beatles anymore. In reality, that wasn’t the case at all. Paul died in 1966. Because the Beatles are walking in a single filed line down Abbey Road, people have said that they think of it as a funeral procession. They say John Lennon is dressed in White to represent the church. Because Ringo is dressed in black he represents the undertaker. Paul’s eyes are closed and he is barefoot which sets him apart from the other Beatles. Myth says that corpse are buried without their shoes. Paul was also holding his cigarette in his right hand, when he is really left handed. George was dressed in work clothes which represents the gravedigger. The Volkswagen in the picture has a license plate that says “LMW 28IF” which meant if Paul would have been 28 if he had lived.
Bob Dylan goes electric
On July 25th, 1965 at the Newport Folk Festival Bob Dylan comes out on stage with Al Cooper and The Paul Butterfield Blues Band with pianist Berry Goldberg. Bob Dylan preformed a bunch of new songs from his electric guitar. He made a new album with half electric and half acoustic guitar. People began to boo and cheer simultaneously. Then people began to scream “Sell out!” Pete Seeger was running around backstage with an axe threatening to chop the wires of the soundboard. Bob Dylan came back out with an acoustic guitar and the crowd got better.
Sgt. Pepper Cover
People claim that the spectators in the album cover were supposed to be mourners at a funeral. The flowers apparently spelled “Beatles” and a set of yellow hyacinths formed the shape of a left-handed guitar. That is Paul McCartney’s instrument. Paul has his right hand raised which resembles death. All the other Beatles were holding bright gold instruments while Paul holds a black clarinet.
The myth that Elvis Presley is still alive
The myth is that Elvis didn’t die in 1977. He apparently said this to go into hiding from his music career for a while. Some say he wanted to get away from the spotlight for a while. This is because he wanted to straighten his life out before he could go back into the spotlight. He was apparently on drugs that he wanted to get off of before he told everyone he was not really dead.

1. Legend has it that Robert Johnson was struggling with his music, and vanished for a long while. It is debated exactly how long he was gone for, some say weeks while others say years. Apparently, one night during this hiatus, Johnson, with his guitar at a crossroad near Dockery Plantation, Mississippi, met the devil. The devil took Johnson’s guitar and tuned it to a perfect pitch. From that moment on, Robert Johnson suddenly became a musical virtuoso, particularly in blues music. However, the legend says that in return for this great talent and perfectly tuned guitar, the devil took Johnson’s soul.
2. Ozzy Osbourne is notorious for his insane and ridiculous stunts, but perhaps the craziest of them all is the legend of his taste for doves and bats. Ozzy discusses both incidents in an excerpt from his autobiography, I Am Ozzy. After a solo career that was a hit in the UK, Ozzy was looking for some success in the US. He had a meeting with executives from CBS and wanted to shock and impress them by setting up this plan to release a couple of doves to fly around the boardroom. Completely intoxicated, Ozzy goes into the meeting, annoyed with the people there and what they were discussing. He then gets angry waiting for Sharon, his wife, to give him the cue to release the doves, so he pulls one out of his pocket, and one of the PR women from CBS said it was “cute.” Fed up, Ozzy simply takes the dove and bites its head off, spitting it into the young woman’s lap. Needless to say, the people in the meeting room were not too happy with him. The bat was a different story. Ozzy claims he thought it was rubber when it was handed to him from a fan while he was performing onstage. He did what he usually did when a rubber toy was brought onstage: he took a big bite. Unfortunately, the bat was completely real and so were the rabies shots and a night in the emergency room.
3. There is much speculation regarding the Beatles’ “Abbey Road” album cover, and it all centers around the alleged death of Paul McCartney. The myth states that Paul McCartney was actually killed in a car accident due to massive head trauma at the height of the Beatles’ success. When the Beatles and their management team learned of this news, they kept it a complete secret from the public. A Paul McCartney lookalike contest was held and the winner was a man named William Campbell, although these results were also not made public. His prize was to literally become Paul McCartney, replacing the deceased member but not telling anyone his true identity. In the album cover of the Beatles’ “Abbey Road,” there are supposedly several representations of Paul’s death. For one, he is out of step with all of the other band members. Also, he is barefoot and his eyes are closed, like a corpse. Their order and outfits on the cover are representative of a funeral procession: John as the Preacher, Ringo the Pallbearer, Paul the Deceased, and George the Grave Digger. There are said to be several more hints in Beatles songs and album covers that support this “Paul is Dead” myth.
4. Bob Dylan was a well-known and well-liked folk musician when he walked onstage at the Newport film festival on July 25, 1965. However, when he began playing his song “Maggie’s Farm” on an electric guitar, the crowd was shocked. Immediately, the boos and jeering began. Some applauded, but enough were upset that at one point Dylan left the stage. He did come back on without his band for two songs, one of which was his hit “Mr. Tambourine Man.” After this song played, the crowd’s mood seemed to shift as they cheered and applauded. However, Dylan would never be completely accepted again by the folk music world after that day.
It remains a mystery as to how Robert Johnson excelled with his musical talents in such a short time. It was said after his young wife died during childbirth Johnson was desperate to take control of his life again. Finn says, “ Confronted with yet another crisis, this young man sought a means of transforming his life, by transforming life itself into a work of art. Disillusioned with the reality the white world imposed upon him, he turned to the world of magic to the supernatural powers promised by Hoodoo…Having realized that music was a kind of magic, he sought out magic to gain control over it" (Scotese). He sought the help of a medicine man, or Root Doctor, to help him with his music. After disappearing for a time span and returning, his music abilities greatly improved. Some believe he sold his soul to the devil, and in return the devil would grant him the skill to play the guitar exceptionally and become famous.

Ozzy Osbourne, aka the King of Darkness has a rough reputation based off of the provocative things he used to do back in his days of fame. It is said that the biting of the bats head originally began when he threw pig guts into the audience. One particular fan, offended, threw a live bat on stage to “give him a taste of his own medicine”. This is where the story gets uncertain. Some people say that Ozzy thought that the bat was fake, and it was some sort of joke. Others believe he was aware that the bat was real, and bit its head because of his drug induced state. After words he was rushed to the hospital to be tested for rabies and other diseases. Based on his past of destructive decisions, I would not put it past Osbourne to knowingly eat a live bats head off.

The myth of the Abbey Road cover is the most controversial one I have read bout yet. It is said that the cover is representative of the band and McCartney’s funeral. After a severe road traffic accident, many believed that he had died. Legend has it that a look-a-like that could sing was ‘secretly’ replacing him and the cover was in the real Paul’s honor. Each walker represents a different symbol of the funeral process. Paul himself is wearing a blue suit with no shoes, supposedly representing a corpse. I believe that this legend could hold some truth to it only because the facts and examples are quite convincing.

One of Bob Dylan’s more poor decisions was “going electric” in Newport Folk Festival on Sunday July 25, 1965. After playing a few short sets Dylan was booed off stage. People yelled at Dylan calling him a “sell out”. Pete Seeger was alledgedly running around backstage with an axe threatening to chop the chords. Some people believe the audience was angry about the poor sound quality and short sets; others believe he was attacked simply because he was using an electric guitar. I find it odd that the audience was not open to his new image, but accepted so many other musicians that went electric back then.

On August 4, 1962 after Marylin Monroe saw her pysystrist she retreated to her room. It was claimed that she had a telephone and a bottle of pills in her hands. She made numerous calls that night one of which was supposedly to Peter Lawford. who introduced Marylin to the Kenedys. “Lawford became somewhat distressed by the call because he was a bit uncomfortable with what sounded like to him a final goodbye” (Wilkins). Instead of going to her house himself, he contacted her agent. The next morning the police recieved a call reguarding Monroe’s overdose on pills. There was no trace of water to wash down the pills. It was a questionable suicide; some think the overdose was caused by someone else (possibly linked to the Kenedys).

I recognize Paul McCartney who played in the Beatles and supposedly died. It was said the band tried to cover up his death by replacing him with a look alike.
I recognize Snow White, a cartoon character from the Disney Movie Snow White which was released in 1937. It was the first animated movie to be shown in color.
I also recognize Edgar Allen Poe, a poet who also wrote short literature. He was found dead, broke and drunk in an alley.
I do not recognize Diana Dors. She is an English actress, and a huge sex symbol. She died of cancer of the stomach.

I do not recognize Oscar Wilde. He is a famous poet and writer. In the 1880’s he became a very famous play writer.

1. The life of Robert Johnson is shrouded in myth and ledged. The influential blues guitarist was, according to legend, not always a virtuoso at his stringed instrument. According to myth Johnson failed at a performance for a small audience in Mississippi. After his bad performance he wandered out to the crossroads with his guitar. There he met a menacing figure thought to be the devil. The devil took his guitar and played a few songs then returned it to Johnson. Robert Johnson became a master at the style of blues guitar and was able to project his own style into his songs.

2. Ozzy Osbourne’s shows had a reputation for being slightly demonic and satanic. But nothing compares to the two shows where he bit the heads off two live animals. During his Bark At The Moon tour, There was a live bat that was thrown on stage. Ozzy, in a “rock induced demonic state”, grabbed the bat and without hesitation proceeded to bite it’s head clean off. A similar thing happened during a meeting between Ozzy and CBS records. Three doves were supposed to be released to start the meeting off. Two doves were released, the third Ozzy caught and bit the head off.

3. The Abbey Road cd cover is all supposed to be a symbol of the fact that Paul McCartney is infact dead. The four Beatles walking across the street are supposed to be a funeral precession for Paul. John, dressed in a white suit, is supposed to be the preacher or even God. Ringo, dressed in a black suit and white shirt, is supposed to be the undertaker. Paul, who is bare foot and his eyes are closed, is the corpse. George, dressed in plain looking clothes, is supposed to be the grave digger. All these things along with Paul smoking holding the cigarette in his right hand, while being a lefty bass player, a car in the background pointed directly at his head, and an ambulance on the side of the road in the middle ground seem to point to the fact that Paul McCartney is in fact dead.

4. At the Newport Folk Festival in July 1965, Bob Dylan decided to change things up with his set. The festival being all folk not many people were playing electric instruments, so when Dylan came out with his newly crafted band there was some hostility from the audience. After they finished their first song, with microphones and speakers set at the wrong levels, most of the crowd was booing. Dylan and his band disappeared back stage and later Dylan came out with an acoustic guitar and appeased the crowd, giving them the folk they wanted.

5. During the production of The Mars Volta’s cd The Bedlam in Goliath, the band used a Ouija board to get names for songs and even talk to a spirit called Goliath. The band feels that this Ouija board was infact cursed. The curse causing their drummer to resign mid tour, the lead singer had to have knee surgery because of an injury caused by the shoes he was wearing, tracks mysteriously went missing, their sound engineer suffered a nervous breakdown taking some of the tracks with him, and the guitarist’s home studio flooded destroying some tracks. Guitarist Rodriguez-Lopez broke the Ouija board in half and buried it in an undisclosed location and asked the rest of the band to not speak of it again to ward off the curse.

Robert Johnson in the 1930s around midnight, walked out of the Mississippi Swampland to meet the devil at the crossroads. Johnson carried his old acoustic guitar and a bottle of rye whiskey. He was going to the crossroads to sell his mortal soul in exchange for fame and expertise. There he met a tall man dressed in all black, wearing shades and a top hat. Robert signed his soul away to the man after he adjusted his guitar. The man also asked for Johnson's shoes as well.
Ozzy Osbourne would throw pig intestines and cow livers into the crowd. One time a kid threw a bat on the stage and Ozzy thought it was rubber. He bit the head off and soon found out that it was a real bat. After the performance he had to be rushed to the hospital to get rabie shots. Ozzy Osbourne doesn't go around biting the heads off doves and bats for fun.
The Beatles' Abbey Road cover, has caused a lot of mystery. The myth is that Paul McCartney died in a car crash and they buried him and got a look alike. The band felt guilty for replacing Paul so they left behind clues on all their album covers. On the Abbey Road cover Ringo paul bearer, John as a priest, the Paul look a-like a dead man, and George a grave digger. Also, in the Beatles Sign there is a crack symbolizing the breakup of the group. This is still a mystery.
Bob Dylan is known as an acoustic folk singer. It caused a lot of uproar when he played with an electric blues band at the Newport Folk Festival. He became unpopular in some parts of the Folk society. Bob Dylan's switch from acoustic to electric greatly affected the Folk Community and some of his fans.
In the Sgt. Pepper coverI recognize Marlyn Monroe, Paul McCartney, and Bob Dylan. I don't recognize Oliver Hardy, Diana Dors, and Robert Peel.

1.The myth of Robert Johnson selling his soul to the devil at the cross roads was not clearly understood by many people. A man from ‘The Mudcat Café,’ decided to go to the library and try to learn more about this myth. His problem was, he couldn’t find much of anything. Legba is a trickster deity and god of entrances and crossroads, and many assume that when Johnson made his claim of meeting the devil, he was referring to Legba. Johnson was interested in understanding the energy in which all human beings possess. He began learning to do this by channeling through his guitar. Basically, no one really knows for sure if Robert Johnson sold his soul to the devil or not, but many will still wonder to this day.

2. Many myths and legends are normally proven to be wrong, but Ozzy Osbourne biting off the head of a bat is proven to be true. At one of his concerts in Des Moines, Iowa Ozzy accidentally bit off the head of a live bat. At some shows Ozzy would throw raw meat at his crowd, this time around someone in the audience threw meat at him. A fan threw a live bat at Ozzy and the bat was stunned by the lights and chaos that it stood still. Since it wasn’t moving Ozzy thought it was a fake bat, and bit right into it. Afterwards he was rushed to the hospital and given many shots to prevent getting rabies. He had also bit off a head of a dove during a CBS meeting. Ozzy was beginning to get angry with the producers and wanted to make a statement, so he decided to bite off the head of the dove.

3.The mythology surrounding the Abbey Road cover still remains a mystery. The conspiracy revolved around Paul Mcartney dying in a car accident. A problem arose because the Beatles were at the top of their peak. Someone had the idea of never revealing Paul’s death and putting in an imposter. The Abbey Road cover showed the four boys walking in a singmle file line across the Abbey Road cross walk. Paul was out of set with the other three guys and barefoot. Many felt as though if the Beatles admitted to putting in clues they would be charged with some conspiracy relating to a murder. There’s also a rumor that they used this to help their sales of their album.

4. When Bob Dylan came on stage July 25, 1965 and played “Maggie’s Farm” on an electric guitar, many people were shocked. A big section of the crowd began to boo him. He did two more songs after that and was still being booed, even when he left stage the booing continued. Dylan came back on stage and sang “Mr. Tambourine man” and after a little bit of silence, the crowd began to start cheering again. Many people of the folk fraternity will never accept Dylan for betraying them and going to the “rock side of music, but Dylan did influence many others afterwards.

5.The Myth of Cass Elliot choking to death on a ham sandwich has been proven to be false. The rumor had started because Elliot was a larger woman and people said she brought her death upon herself. They chose a ham sandwich because it comes from a pig and often obese people are called “pigs.” Elliot was found to have died from a heart attack because she was so over weight.

Robert Johnson sells his soul to the devil
This myth is in reference to the song Crossroads, which has been re-recorded by hundreds of artists making it often referred to as one of the best examples of blues music. Some people claim that this song is cursed because after some of the artists re recorded the song, they experienced bad luck. In rural folklore, a crossroad is regarded to as an evil place. The myth about Robert Johnson is that he went to a crossroad and made a pact with the devil; he traded his soul for extraordinary talent. Unfortunately, Johnson did not get to enjoy his success for very long; he died at the age of 27.

Ozzy Osbourne's taste for doves and bats
There are many myths and legends when it comes to musicians and their music, but this one is evidently untrue. It is rumored that Osbourne is a gruesome, gross, animal eater. While touring for his second solo album, Diary of a Madman, he became infamous for throwing animal guts at his audience. So his fans began to return the favor. One night, a bat was thrown on stage. Osbourne, thinking it was a toy bat, picked it up and bit its head off. Another incident including animal lewdness is when Osbourne brought a dove to a meeting with some sort of music producers. He had planned to set it free during the meeting to give the producers something to remember. Unfortunately the dove died before the meeting. Still wanting to shock them, Osbourne bit the doves head off. After all is said and done, Osbourne is in fact not that big of a fan of meat, he just likes being different.

Mythology surrounding the Abbey Road cover
It is rumored that in 1966 Paul McCartney died and was replaced by look-a-alike. What does this have to do with the Abbey Road cover? The myth is that the Abbey Road cover symbolizes a funeral procession for McCartney. On the cover the four Beatles are walking in a single file line across Abbey Road. John Lennon is dressed in white, supposedly representing the church. Also, white is the traditional mourning color in some European countries. Ringo, who is dressed in black, represents the funeral director. McCartney, third in line, is out of step with the other three and has his eyes closed. He also does not have any shoes on and in some societies it is custom that corpses are buries bare foot. Another weird factor is that he is holding a cigarette in his right hand when he was in fact left handed. The last Beatle in line is George Harrison and he is supposedly the grave digger. The last detail of the cover is the message on the license plate of the Volkswagen, “LMW 28IF”, indicating that McCartney would have been 28 if he had lived.

Bob Dylan goes electric
At the 1965 Newport Folk Festival, Bob Dylan decided to perform electric rather than his normal acoustic. After performing for about fifteen minutes, Dylan walked off the stage. Some claim it was because of the booing, while some say there was no booing at all and he was just neglecting his fans. If there were boos, it could have come from multiple locations; the audience, the press box, or the other musicians backstage. It is unknown. However, it became an unforgettable moment in rock history.

I myself don’t believe in the supernatural, however there are many shocking stories arising, convincing more and more people everyday. The legend of Robert Johnson states that living as a young black man, in rural Mississippi, he grew up with the dream to be a famous blues musician. He was instructed to take his guitar to a crossroad near Dockery Plantation at midnight where the Devil would be waiting. When we arrived the Devil was their, he took Johnson’s guitar and tuned it, played a few songs and handed it back to him. In turn for making Johnson a master of the blues, he must pay with his soul. Whether or not Robert Johnson sold his soul to the Devil is beyond me, although it is said that the astonishing improvement Johnson made within six months could only possibly be made in a minimum of two or three times this period. Johnson, himself further supports this theory with patterns in behavior, attitude and song lyrics including song, “Me and the Devil,” lyrics, “Early this mornin' when you knocked upon my door- And I said, ‘Hello, Satan," I believe it's time to go.’” (stanza 1, lines 1-6).
On January 20, 1982 Ozzy Osbourne, and band Black Sabbath were performing on stage when a fan from the audience threw a live bat on stage. The stage lights stunned the bat and Ozzy assumed it was a rubber bat. Much to his surprise, this was no fake bat. Osbourne was immediately rushed to the hospital for rabies shots. Later on in life, when Ozzy had just signed with a new record label, to get some publicity and attention, he released a few doves. When this didn’t capture their eye, Osbourne grabbed one of the doves, bit the head off and spit it out. It’s safe to say Ozzy got the attention he desired, but in turn was escorted off the premises. On the way out he helped himself to another dove before the shock had set in. It’s debatable whether or not Ozzy was truly disturbed by the bat incident, however if he was, he had yet to learn an important lesson pertaining to the insanity behind decapitating live animals with your mouth.
I am a full-fledged believer in the conspiracy surrounding the Abbey Road cover. There are many clues and hints leading to the inevitable truth that the original, real Paul McCartney is in fact dead. After the car accident and decapitation of, Beatles member, Paul McCartney a problem was presented for the remaining members of the growing pop band. McCartney was quickly replaced by a look-alike as if he were never gone. Feeling guilty, the band and people involved, created a puzzle for dedicated fans, and dispersed the pieces along lyrics, interviews, and particularly on the cover of the record, released in 1969, Abbey Road. The classic photo of the 4 Beatles walking in a single file line was to represent a funeral procession, John Lennon, dressed in white, represented the Church, Ringo, dressed in black, represented the undertaker, Paul himself, and last in line George Harrison, wearing work clothes, humorously representing the gravedigger. While John, Ringo, and George are stepping with their left foot Paul is stepping with his right, cleverly representing he is out of step with the others. His eyes are closed and he is barefoot: in some Eastern societies a corpse was buried without shoes or sock. Also, notably McCartney was held a cigarette in his right hand, the real McCartney was left-handed.
We all have to test out limits and exceed our comfort zone sometimes. In some cases we succeed, and in some we fail. The fearless, Bob Dylan tested his limits at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965. Being known as the calm, placid, folk artist, Dylan surprised fans with his decision to go electric and sing a new series of electric songs live. When Dylan realized his fans’ reaction was not the one he had hoped for he was embarrassed and walked off stage, chased by a chorus of ‘boos’. Host, Peter Yarrow eventually convinced him to come back onstage. When Dylan appeared, he realized he didn’t have the right harmonica and lashed out on Yarrow. Fans were not used to seeing the usually mellow Bob Dylan this way. Dylan begged the audience for ‘an E harmonica’. Without hesitation Dylan had a harmonica of choice and began playing and singing what the crowd was used to. Although the atmosphere was still tense, fans busted with applause. Dylan did not return to the Newport Festival for 37 years. Essentially the fans were distressed, not with the poor sound quality and the short set, but in seeing Dylan using an electric guitar. An electric guitar symbolizes everything the folk culture is not, and I believe the significance of the electric guitar plays an important role in the controversy over the situation.

For the topic of my choice I decided to research the “Elvis Presley lives” myth. Some people believe that Elvis Presley is still alive and is faking his own death as a cover-up to free himself from the powerful rays of the limelight. Elvis’ death was, in a sense, unexplained and swept under the rug. It didn’t help when an autopsy report mysteriously went missing. Some say he wanted to escape fame and is now living a simple life. Many claim they have spotted him all over the world. Others say he is hiding from the Mafia in a witness protection program.
The Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Heart Club Band is just another supporting argument to the ‘Paul is Dead’ theory. In the process to make the old Paul and new Paul switch successful, the band grew moustaches, thus, making it harder for someone to discover and point out any facial physical differences. To the left of the band stand the wax figures, signifying the past, of the original four Beatles looking down at the grave in sorrow, mourning the loss of the old band, their close friend and band member, their brother. The stance of the Beatles seems uncomfortable and forced, as though Paul, in the middle isn’t sure what he’s doing or how this whole thing works. He wears the facial expression of a scared child put in to play with the big kids. The other three Beatles awkwardly stand around him, as if trying to keep him contained like he might run away, or merely trying to protect their new band member. The letters worn on Paul’s sleeve ‘O.P.D.’ stand for ‘officially pronounced dead’. In a few other aspects if you over examine lettering and such, you may be left with more clues. Most information interpreted by this photograph and album is a very legitimate storyline explaining Paul’s death, however some of the information is over processed and a stretch. I recognize Bob Dylan, Marilyn Monroe, and Edgar Allen Poe, all of which from very different worlds coming together over this horrific tragedy.

Throughout music there are many myths about different artists. For instance, it is thought that through a close inspection of the "Abbey Road" album cover by "The Beatles", there is evidence to prove that Paul McCartney had died. On the Album McCartney is the only memeber without shoes and by their feet is a puddle of blood (the puddle is seen on the Australian version of the cover). It is also said that each member has a role to fill: priest, corpse, undertaker and mourner. Also, in the background there is a police car the stop traffic for the funeral procession.
Another myth is "The Dark Side of Oz". It is said that if you play Pink Floyd's "The Dark Side of the Moon" after the MGM Lion roars three times in "The Wizard of Oz" the songs will synch up perfectly with the movie. For instance, as "Money" starts to play the movie becomes colorful and the Munchkins dance in time with the music. Also, when the Scarecrow begins to sing "If I Only had a Brain" "Brain Damage" begins to play. There is also another myth surrouding Pink Floyd's music and that is that their album "The Wall" synchs up with "Alice in Wonderland".
Robert Johnson also is known for the oldest music myth. It is told that he had an intense desire to become the best blue's musician. Johnson was instructed to take his guitar to the crossroads and make a deal with the devil. There he was met by the devil who tuned his guitar, played a few songs, and handed back the instrument, along with a mastery of it. This myth is reflected in his music with songs such as "Hell Hound on my Tail", it is said that the Devil sends Hell Hounds out to retrieve the souls that he had been payed; "Crossroad Blues" is another song that pertains to the myth, the crossroads is where he met the Devil and made the deal.
Ozzy Osborne, the Prince of Darkness, is known for also causing a stir while he is on stage. Ozzy is known for biting the heads off of doves and bats while he is on stage. When this happened he was on stage and a fan had thrown it upon the stage because Ozzy had been throwing pig intestines and livers into the crowd, and when he took a bite of it's head he was surprised at what happened because he had thought that the bat had been made of rubber. After the show Ozzy was rushed to the hospital for a rabis shot. Yet, that was not the only time he bit the head off of something, Ozzy also bit the head off of a dove at a record company meeting. He had wanted to release them as a sign of peace, but he was extremely intoxicated at the time and grabbed on and bit the head off of it.
Bob Dylan walked on stage July 25th, 1965 as an acoustic folk singer. The crowd, fans of his acoustic music, did not take a liking the shift they saw that night. When Dylan began to play "Maggie's Farm" upon an electric guitar, the crowd was not happy, instantly a chorus of boos and jeers were thrown at the musician. He did come back later to sing two songs, but the folk community never fully accepted him again after that day.
I notice Marylin Monroe, a famous movie actress. I also notice Edgar Allen Poe, a notorious poet and horror writer. I also notice Bob Dylan, a well known folk artist. I do not know Sonny Liston (a famous boxer), Max Miller (a famous comic), and Issy Bon (a second famous comic).
