5. Monet and Manet were both born in Paris. They both are considered the fathers of impressionism. Monet painted in his boat, and Manet painted Monet in his boat. They are both mistaken for each other.
6. Camille Claudel is a sculptor. One figure is her; another is a man that is older that’s heading towards death, the third figure.

My favorite picture is Manet, Chez Tortini because I like the name of it and the picture doesn’t even coincide with the name.

These two man are both artists and French. They are different because Monet had Impressionist style, and Manet liked to draw sceenary.

Camille Claudel is a sculptor in 1882. Three figures are a man, woman, and a angel.

Rembrandt, A Lady and Gentleman in Black is my favorite piece, it shows a man and women dress very highly, it’s my favorite because they remind me of pilgrims and thanksgiving.

It inspired the Statue of Liberty in New York City, which was given to the United States as a gift from the French only 50 years after "Liberty Leading the People" had been painted. The statue, which holds a torch in its hand, takes a similar stance to the woman in the painting.

Both were French, and both were impressionists. Monet did outdoor scenes, tried to kill himself, married twice, two kids from the first woman, retired to Giverny and finally made some loot in his later days. Manet did indoor scenes and people, war scenes, shared a girlfriend with his dad, died of some nasty stuff at a relatively early age.

She was a French graphic artist/sculpter. In the sculpture the old man is dying and being taken away by the old/creepy lady while the younger girl begs for him to stay.

5.They were both French Impressionists that drew in paints and/or oil pastels. Manet depicted a lot of sexual images and people where as Monet drew a lot of colorful scenarios.
6.Camille Claudel was a French, female artist that worked with stone and clays most of the time. She was mainly a sculptor. One is an angel, another is an old man dieing of old age, and the other is a younger women holding him back from death

5. Monet came from an artistic family of middle class. Manet came from wealth, and although he was encouraged to work in art, his family was not. Both painted lots of people and everyday scenes. After the death of Monet's wife, he painted less people. Manet continued painting people throughout his life. Both used watercolor and oil paint as a medium.
6. She was a french sculptor and graphic artist. The three figures are Claudel, Rodin, and Rodin's wife, Rose. Claudel is the one kneeling.
